HUGE SUCCESS: Team RTA Virtual Race

We had our first “Team Race” of the year on Sunday and it was a TOTAL HIT. Obviously, our first race wasn’t the JerseyMan Tri as originally planned, but it was, no doubt, very special in it’s own way.

While there are lots and lots of virtual race options “these days,” Sunday’s virtual Team Race was SPECIAL and a TON OF FUN!

CONGRATS to everyone who participated!

Surprisingly Fun

Our Virtual Team Race was surprisingly fun and special. It was special because it was unique from all of the other virtual races, mainly because you were doing it “with” your teammates.

It didn’t matter if each athlete knew each of their teammates who were participating or not. We all knew that there were people in our “crew” doing exactly what we were doing and this made it all the more fun because we weren’t doing it alone.

Similar to when you do a real race with a GROUP of friends (or teammates) and you can enjoy the challenge of the race and the subsequent sense of accomplishment together.

Race Logistics & Schedule

Our race offered options for everyone and we tried to create a genuine race feel with our pre & post race meetings, home made: bibs, finish lines & medals.

The main goal was to have fun and we definitely accomplished that. Here’s a quick look at how it all went down.

Schedule of Events:
